Neocatechumenal Way - Singapore



The Neocatechumenal Way was first introduced in 1978 to the parish of St Bernardette forming its first community here in Singapore. Two years later in 1980, it was initiated in the parish of St Francis of Assisi which resulted in the birth of two more communities.

In 2001 and again in 2003, two more communities were formed in the Church of the Holy Trinity. Recent years has also seen the establishment of more communities at the Church of St Anthony & Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

There are now a total of SEVEN Neocatechumenal Communities in Singapore.
